BFA Professional Photography
Robert L. Winner earned his BA in Industrial Photography from Brooks Institute of Photography in 1982 and an MS in Photography from Brooks Institute in 2000. Rob has 30 years’ experience in commercial and documentary photography, as well as 20 years of experience teaching amateur and professional photographers how to make better photographs. Producing photographs for clients both in the studio and on location, he is able to impart knowledge concerning the aesthetic and technical creation of digital imagery and the applications of digital technologies.
Rob has an independent publishing business, BrainStorm 3000, which specializes in graphic design for small businesses and the publication of children’s books. Rob has done photography for Balance Bar, Fleetwood Corporation, GTE, LifeLong Learning, Nike, Nikon, Semester at Sea, Tokina Optical Corporation, and XPO America Cruise Lines.
Rob has been teaching at Brooks Institute for more than 20 years as a full-time faculty member specializing in digital color technologies, digital capture technologies, and advertising concepts at both basic and advanced levels as well as advertising, tabletop photography, digital color workflow/management, Photoshop, Photoshop Lightroom and asset management.
