The Health Care Administration: Long Term Care program at the SBI Campus - an affiliate of Sanford-Brown can help prepare students for entry-level positions in exciting healthcare administration careers. Healthcare managers need to combine caring for people with business leadership because they will be responsible for planning and coordinating healthcare delivery, integrating technological innovations and an increased focus on preventive care. Healthcare administration careers are challenging and unique because patient care is constantly updated with new practices and technologies.
As SBI graduates, students can look for entry-level positions in a variety of medical environments for their healthcare administration careers. For example, a student might start their career working in a hospital or nursing home. For students who pursue higher education, other opportunities become available. For example, with a graduate degree, jobs as health care consultants may become available. Chief Hospital Administrators often begin their careers with undergraduate degrees in healthcare administration.
Recently, physicians have started to gather together, forming group practices. In smaller practices, administrative duties are often assigned to a healthcare administrator. - A "graduate" is (all of the following):
